Hardwood Installation Help
Hardwood Installation Help
Solid hardwood flooring is fixed to the subfloor using glue, nails or staples. For successful installation, it’s important that the existing floor is flat and tested for relative moisture. Likewise, an appropriate subfloor material must be used to avoid moisture-related issues that can cause damage to the floor. Solid hardwood flooring installation is not recommended below ground level, in bathrooms or any moisture-prone areas. Solid boards are available unfinished or factory finished. For best results, we recommend hiring a professional hardwood installer.
